This Weeks Giveaway a Skip Hop Zoo Lunchie

I HATE sippy cups, I especially hate them in my bag. There is nothing worse when you're looking for something in your bag only to realize that the receipt you needed to return something to Target is now covered with diluted something or other, or once again I ruined another cell phone ( oh how I hate that thingamabob in the back of the phone that tells Verizon you indeed got the phone wet and there is nothing they can do about it). Oh and don't get me started on crumbs, I hate crumbs on the bottom of my bag and perhaps if I don't have diluted apple juice and animal crackers all over the bottom of my bag thousands of red fire ants will stay away when I place it on the ground at the park ( this happened once and it was a nightmare!). I have had enough and decided to reclaim my handbag for myself!  My babies are getting bigger, but they still can't EVER leave the house with out a snack and something to drink. So when I started looking for something small enough for me to carry around on a daily basis but still able to fit everything I needed I cam across Skip Hop Zoo Lunchies and fell in love! They are all so cute and come in different animal shapes that I couldn't resist sharing! So here is this weeks giveaway One Puppy Dog Skip Hop Lunchie!

This Weeks Giveaway 2 Bows From Proud Child Boutique

Some of you might know that I am an avid knitter (though not so much since having kids and starting a business). One of the many questions I get asked is if I knit things to sell, but this has never appealed to me. Luckily for me I happen to know some super talented Mommas out there who knit and crochet! My friend Sulem, a College Station transplant from California ( like me!) , who is also married to a mathematician (like me!) runs a super successful handmade boutique called Proud Child Boutique. She is amazing, and I have had her make many things for my kids (because I am super slacking crafting momma).

Here is "P" Wearing a Proud Child Boutique Sock Monkey Hat!

She was nice enough to give me one bow and one headband for Dress Up Jane's 1st Giveaway! Perfect for fall and back to school!

Here are the rules for our giveaway:
1. Become a Fan of Proud Child Boutique on Facebook

2. Become a Fan of Dress Up Jane on Facebook.

3. Tell Your Friends About Proud Child Boutique and Dress Up Jane.

4. For each entry leave a comment in the message box below.

Giving birth to an idea..

It all started with a an obsession with children's clothes and a box of clothes. Ok, lots of boxes of clothes and an idea to sell gently used high quality children's clothes at really affordable prices. Even before I had children I was secretly obsessed with children's clothes. I remember the day clearly when I saw a little girl dressed in a Hanna Andersson playdress and leggings and thought to myself that when I have a little girl, that is exactly what I want her to wear. Little did I know at the time what the cost of that particular dress and leggings would be.

When I told my husband my idea to start an online children's resale and consignment shop, he thought it sounded great and even agreed to help (i.e., bankroll) my endeavor. He had no idea how big my plans were for Dress Up Jane. I've always wanted to do something on my own, but kept on thinking I needed to wait until the kids were in school, when we had more time, when we were traveling less, when I knew... and that's when I decided to take matters in my own hands and just do it.

So without further ado I introduce you to www.dressupjane.com

Check out the website, buy some super cute clothing, and let me know what you think. I will be updating the website with new arrivals a few times a week, and let me tell you I have some exciting new arrivals! I also hope to expand to larger kids sizes and add a section for special occasion and seasonal outfits too. Let me know if you have any ideas for the site as well; one mom mentioned having a gently used cloth diapering section on the site, which you should start looking for soon. As for the blog, keep checking back for sneak peaks of our new arrivals, fun kid activities, yummy recipes, and giveaways!

Also if you haven't already done so, please like us on Facebook! When I get 250 Like's I will be doing my first giveaway, a $25.00 Gift Certificate to www.DressupJane.com!
